Hi there, mounted this morning a tip top with 5 min epoxy (z poxy) on a two handed rod perfectly aligned, so far so good. Two hours later test casting. During the casting session I realized that tip top turned out of aligned position from 6:00 to 7:00 o'clock. Now it seems the epoxy has cured completely and I need an idea how to remove the tip top to reinstall later on this or another TT corre

It is absolutely clear to me that the chances to get one into my hands her in Russia or on vacation in Germany, Denmark is almost zero. Did anyone cast an XLS / extreme line speed or an ICT / intuitive casting taper? Rgds, Ole

Hi folks, does anybody have some experience with the current fly blank lineup and know "how they are"? Also comments about the factory build rods I would appreciate if somebody had the chance to touch / wiggle / fish them. Especially the XLS and ICT found my attention but I was not able to find anything about them... Rgds, Ole

Hi folks, does it make sense to execute the reinfocement wraps at the ferrules in stronger yarn (Gudebrod size D instead of size A) than the guide wrappings? In addition how long they should be? The rod itself is a Loop Blue Line 11'6 4pc in (European) class 7. Regards from far away, Ole

Hi Rob, just give them a little time to answer, sometimes the guys over there are really busy. But I know the feeling sometimes you need an answer minimum fast or even yesterday... I ordered with them a couple of times without big problems - living in Germany (non military). So I expect that it will not be a problem at all for them to ship to an address wherever it is. Hi Sam, I believe real first class handles are not available in a readymade configuration. Neither for Flyrods nor for spinning rods. Invest the extra time and turn your own handle. Experiences I made with preformed handles let me come to this conclusion. Rgds, Ole

Hi Rob, I would start with scotchbrite. Had just a little similar project where I had best results with this type of stuff. If that will not work properly use 1000+ grid sandpaper. MAke teh blank wet and work careful and slowly with good light. Clean the area you work on in between frequently with water and a dry cloth to keep the overview over the entire process, to avoid bad surprises. R
