Hi guys,
I've noticed that some high end rods such as graphite leader have these indented butt caps. They'd not get scratched as much and look amazing. Has anyone tried to make this?
I can get a metal plate engraved, but how would I go about recessing it and getting the surrounds right?
It'll be fiddly but I'm open to ideas.
Cheers,
Nick

For those of you wondering, of course I meant butt cap...
Looks a bit like this and they're really impressive up close.
I think engraving is the easy part, how do I go about getting the resin/rubber/eva housing around it?
Cheers Guys,
Nick

Hi guys,
I saw a megabass rod with the indented, copper nameplate in the butt. Is there any way I'd be able to do that on my customs??
Cheers,
Nick
