LS Supreme is the product I use exclusively. I really like the long work time. Their Rod Bond is excellent as well.

I have found that rubbing with denatured alcohol and a paper towel prior to the epoxy fully setting tends to dull the finish. That was discovered unintentionally.

Alright I had to figure out how to upload a photo (it required a 2nd registration, instructions were in the sticky). Here is the picture of the rod taken today. Herself held the rod while I snapped a few photo's. You can decide if the guide spacing I previously stated looks good for your build. I followed the instruction on this site under the library for how to perform the static load test.

Michael, I opted to attempt the static load test with the guide spacing I planned to use (after having already wrapped the stripper guides). Here is the picture of that, it is my first attempt at using the static load for checking guide placement. I had to use the manual focus and focus fringing to get the rod and line as the focal point. Looks like they count on a fluidly running epoxy. I personally only use Rod Bond (great stuff) for mounting handles, reel seats. Guess I will stick with tape arbors.

Howdy, quick question: Is the REVF1006-2 blank the same as this one? I think it is close, but might be an earlier iteration. It (I.E. the PDF) does not state Revelation anywhere on it. In any case I imagine the guide spacing is probably the same regardless of iteration. If anyone knows please weigh in.
