Thank you all for your input. One last question, with the snake brand guides would you go with the light wire or the regular guides?

Going to be building a CTS 9' 5 weight and was going to go with a 12 and a 10 stripper and then snake brand light wire guides 4-3-1-1-1-1-1-1. What would be the advantage/ disadvantage to using 1 or 2 strippers? What would be your layout?

I am looking for a jigging rod to use as an all around boat rod jigging for fluke, sea bass, blackfish and porgy in the northeast. I'm looking for a 6'6" rod and that can jig 1-3oz or 1-4oz . I am having a hard time finding something to match and was wondering if anyone has seen one or built one .
Thank you very much

6. Warranty
I once read on a manufacturers website that in order for the blanks warranty to be valid it must have the manufacturers decal or name on it. Is this true for all rod blanks? ( particularly Lamiglas)
Thanks

And just a heads up unless all your doing is hand wrapping a fly rod don't buy the fuji metallic. Theres not much strength to it and will break or unwind if there is too much tension (it doesn't take much). Don't want to knock on the fuji thre

12. New and surf rod
Hi everyone I am new to the fourm but have been building rods for about 3 years now I am building an 11' lamiglas gsb with a 2-4oz rating. (Spinning rod) I will be using fuji K series double guides. I am considering sizes 40-25-16-12-10-10-10-10. Just wanted a second opinion on what you think.
Thanks,
Justin
