I am interested in this system as well. How do you all think the felt will hold up if using the optional powerhead?
It seems sililar to the Flex Coat system, anyone have expiriance using the Flex Coat for a while? How have the felt lined V's worked with the power wrapper?

As Tom said, some companies do use feet instead of inches (I believe RodGeeks uses a foot measurement and power as a model number ex. SRF120HMF2 is a 12' heavy power moderate fast action 2 piece surf rod).
Another example would be a Batson SB843. Its a Spinning blank (thats the series its in) 84 inches (7 feet for any metric system users) and the third number is kind of a relative power rat

I had the same issue, and as previously mentioned, the epoxy worked great. I just mixed a little extra when I was attaching my grip to the blank, it feels just as good as new.
