looking to build a 6wt and possibly another 8wt for smallmouth bass this winter. looking for a blank that is equivalent to the Eternity2 or better, I have an 8wt Eternity and love it but the cobalt blue will not do this time around. looking for feedback on these blanks from those who have built on them.

My 13 year old Daughter was bored so I gave her a mission to research what would be better on her new 8wt single or double foot wire guides. after about 2 hrs of note taking, searching this site, the internet and doing some serious thinking, She concluded that they don't call it custom rod building for nothing. So the rod should have both, starting from the grip and going towards the tip 2 stripp

Just received my Eternity 2 9ft 8wt blank, upon inspection I noticed the tip section is about an .5 inch shorter than the other 3 sections. It is a nice clean straight cut. Has anyone else experienced this with thier Eternity 2 fly blanks? Thanks

Daughter and I are going to be buildng a couple of 6wts this winter. Mine will be built on a batson rx8 hers an rx7 they will be used primarily for smallmouth and perhaps the occasional small carp. I was thinking a 12, and a 10 for strippers followed by size 2 single foots to the tip. any other suggestions or thoughts?

Just wanted to say hello from south central Wisconsin. My 10yr old Daughter and I started this addiction last winter and are getting ready for more builds when the snow flies. We have learned alot from this site and its members and look forward to making new friends Troy and Aliyah
