I used the same thread for both rods. It is a greyish blue. Its not too light though. The first rod looks great. I purchased TM Lite this past February and built my first rod. The epoxy on that rod still appears clear. However, I just built a new rod a couple weeks ago and the epoxy has already yellowed. It is the first time I used it since February but it has been stored in a cool dark cabinet. Is it just old or did I mix it incorrectly?

HPS Quick Lock is what I'm using now. I was hoping there was something I could use that just had threads. But I need the sleave and the tubing that would be glued to the rod. Right now I am using the HPS as the sleeve and a piece of a skeleton real seat for the tubing. Just looking to make it cheaper.

I am looking to buy some threaded tubing to make a fore grip. I am trying to make a custom grip similar to a Fuji HPS Quicklock. I just need something similar to 16 size tubing that would be needed. So I would need the tubing that goes on the rod and then some tubing that would thread onto the tubing on the rod. Any ideas?
