I would take a look at some musky blanks or maybe a backbouncing blank. You need to be able to stop the big girls. I usually fish the lake worth s155 or s40 spillway with flairs and swimbaits.

I agree with David the filter search should be a option. Not great for looking at rod blanks.

If your using tape to build up a arbor for the gimbal. You can cut a couple channels in the tape to let the air escape. Or drill a small hole in the bottom as Ken stated.

You may want try calling Stuart tackle in Miami FL I believe they make a #6 reel seat just for those beast. Chaos Rods in pompano my also have one in stock. I just finished building two unlimited and one 80-130 for some sharkers and was able to get away AT28 reel seats because we trimed them down some. May also want to checkout the stuart large roller guides if your going rollers
