I have yet to do my first rod and have enjoyed myself a lot just reading through the archives...This question just pop into my mind... If I wanna refinish a blank...be it a solid fiiberglass rod or hollow rod blank...how do I go about supporting it so that it can turn on the rod dryer? Most of the rod blanks I plan to build dont have a long back part that gets covered by the foam or cork handle

Hi guys I have a old vintage solid fiberglass rod thats about 52 inches long and its translucent clear ivory color...I plan to remove all its guides(only 3 guides and a tip)...and wanna clean it up so that its as good as new...the problem is that the blank right now has some scratches here and there...they are like dirt and surface paint scuffing against the blank and thus transfered to the blank

I have one old fenwick rod blank for my featherweight champion rod handle...its got nice action but the finish and wrappings are a little old too...I am also looking for more of these Fenwick glass blanks...either in honey or do they come in other colors? Are these fenwick glass blanks classified as tubular glass blanks or are they e-glass? Are the logos kinda rubbed off or is the glass surface
