I am bidding on a "rogue rod " on @#$%& and with some hindsight decided i'd check with you guys . Does or has rogue ever made a fly rod with a red or marronish colored blank ? I thought they were a relatively new company and have only known them to sell blanks that are grey unfinished graphite . The seller claims it is an older model , #LF 908 3 . Any info will be apreciated . Thanx guys .

I doubt that it is a Rogue. I wouldn't bet my life on it but I don't think they ever made anything but grey. For warranties/service, etc. I would stick with a legit dealer (like sponsors to the left). A deal isn't a deal when you get burned

If it is a Rogue, it will have the Rogue logo on it.

I think some of their first rods could be had in a matte "burgundy" color. Again it should have a Rogue logo on it.

Rogue is not out of business. The story is that they have had their problems but are re-organizing and are still in business and still supplying blanks and rods. If I'm incorrect I trust that someone in the know will alert me and everyone else here.

Rogue is still in business and are re-organizeing. I have no knowledge what happened. I know I have heard at least 6 differnt reasons. Why not email them. I also heard D&E just retired out
Good Wraps Bob Rumors in this business run like wildfire I suggest you go to the source. While back there was a rumor the one NW manufacture was using another manufactures blank and callin it theirs.
