A small piece of Eva foam foregrip pulled off after removing the tape from a butt wrap, must have snipped it with the scissors. Can I use some Eva dust to repair and if so with what. Was thinking of a black siliconized latex mixed with the dust. Any help would be appreciated. Re: Eva repair

That is why I wrap backwards - tip to butt. No more ruining grips becasue tape stuck there, scissors, etc. As for your problem, I have no answer. Re: Eva repair

Is it in a location where you can turn it out? I've not tried to repair any cuts or voids in EVA. This might be an opportunity to develop a new technique. ..... Re: Eva repair

What I would do is make a thin slice in the tear with a razor blade. next cut a peace of foam wedged shaped to fit in slice . next spread the slice apart and put in some contact cement in the slice and surrounding area. Also put contact cement on the foam for the filer and put then in to the slice . Use any thing to keep the slice open till the 2 are together, once the 2 peace are together take a strip of masking tape to firmly hold the wedge in place. After the 2 peace are curried dampen the masking tape to remove, Now with a scissor or razor blade cut the protruding foam you can finish off with some 220 sand paper Good Wraps Bob Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
