Aquanova fly lines

Hello everyone,

I am curious if anyone can tell me about Aquanova brand fly lines?
Any and all oppinions are greatly appreciated.

In addition I am going to be needing a line for a Pac Bay tradition 8'6" 5 weight. If anyone has any oppinions on a line that works extremely well with this blank please let me know.

Cheers,

Jeff

Aquanova flylines: just on a lark I tried it because it was so cheap.
I was dis-appointed. My verdict: doesn't "shoot" as well as others,
doesn't float as high and doesn't hold up as well. Seems to attract
dirt and grime like a magnet. That was all for me. I went back to using
what I normally use: S.A. GPX. IMO, S.A. GPX would work well
with your Pac Bay.

Paul,
I guess the old saying, "you get what you pay for", applys here. I hope that you were at least able to get you money's worth out of it. Thanks for the heads up on them, 'cause I've been tempted myself. As for what I usually use? Jeff, Cortland lines have always served me well.

Tight Lines,

Tim

Jeff,

I use an Airflo polyfuse 7000 WF5 and it fits the 8'6" 5 wt 2 pc Tradition perfectly for trout fishing.

Thanks,
Rick

Cheap!
too soft, poor coating (collects dirt easily) and not slick enough to shoot well. In a years time, you'd probably go thru 4 of them. For the same cost as 4 or 5 Aquanovas, go get SA's GPX, GPS or Trout line. FAR BETTER!

may absolute favorite line is a "rio grande" four wt. this line is slick and shoots like a sun of a gun. seems to work well with rods slow
or fast.
