Has anyone built or had a customer ask for a EVA grip on a saltwater fly rod? I don't think I have ever seen one. Bill Doherty Re: EVA Fly Rod Grip

Solana, No reason, I was thinking about an up coming fly rod project for a guide. I realized I could not remember seeing an EVA fly rod grip. I figured I must be missing somthing? Bill Doherty Re: EVA Fly Rod Grip

I have seen plenty of them. The main thing is that if you use one you want it to be a really very firm foam type grip and not a soft spongy one. Those will cramp the hand very quickly. Re: EVA Fly Rod Grip

William, That's good to know. I might try doing an EVA grip on a saltwater flyrod. Thanks Bill Doherty Re: EVA Fly Rod Grip
