Last year during springer season I hooked a nice fish and my Lommis LCI rod snaped about 6 inches from the top. It lost the good action it had. I want to build a rod just like it, but am not sure what kind of rod blank to use, and does Anglers workshop up in Woodland, Wa. carry them. Re: LCI Rods

LCI/Excelon was the name the company chose after Gary Loomis left the firm. There were similar models in both the G.Loomis and LCI lines for several years. Talon is the company that was once LCI and they may have what you are looking for. I still have all the old LCI catalogs and if you could provide a model number I feel pretty sure I can offer some advice on what might compare favorably in the lines of several other blank companies. ..................... The LCI rod I had is an Excelon IM6, Lure wt 3\9 - 4 and line wt 10-20. I hope this will help in finding it for me. I am hoping to rebuild this before springer season this year. If you are able to order this I am will to buy it. Just let me know how much the blank will be so I can get the money ahead of time. Thank you so much for this information Tracy Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
