Do any of the sponsers have a copy of Cattanach's Handcrafting Bamboo Flyrod videos for sale? (You can e-mail me privately if you wish)

I called The Angler's Art and they said Wayne has vanished and they haven't been able to get any more. No luck on Amazon.com or elsewhere?

Any suggestions? Or other better videos out there?

It is available at Anglers Book Supply you can order online at www.anglersbooksupply.com do a search with Cattanach. It will bring up the video that they have in stock for $50.00.

If you haven't had a chance to try and watch the video, save your money. Anyone who can stay awake through 5 minutes of tape one deserves an award. Get a copy of Digger Degere's tape if you want to see a master in action and then the Claude Kreider reprint from Centenial Publications. Have your library get you Carmichals book and also Kirkfields restoration manual.

There was s complete series on making your own bamboo fly rod in the RodMaker Magazine over the past year and half. It was pretty darn good and even got me interested in trying it. I believe Russ Gooding and Bernard Elser wrote it.
