I think I checked mine a year ago or something. You might do a search for thread tension and see what comes up. I can't remember, but I think mine ended up more like 25 to 30 for A and 30 to 35 for D. But, again, I didn't write it down. It's here in the archives somewhere. ............ Vinny, search 'thread tension', then go to comment # 55. Click on and read each back to about # 48, those marked 'CC for thread tension'. I believe now that 35 -40 pennies weight is about the heavy end of the scale for tension. Ralph Re: Is this a standard???

Come on people, lets hear from you on this. I'm sure Tom and I aren't the only ones with an opinion. Let's see a few numbers for those who need help with thread tension. I've wrapped for years and had trouble with tension for most of them. I just rechecked my tension for 'A' Goodbrod and it is 31 pennies. Ralph Re: Is this a standard???

Thanks, Ralph!! Very Useful. Printed it out and will check it when I get home. I'm curious to see what numbers others come up with Mike Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
