Tip Top Glue

What is the best for tips. I have been using the flex coat rod building glue. Should I be using an adhesive that is only for the tip top?

I use an off-the-shelf 5-minute epoxy. Sets up quickly, easy to use and clean up. And you can remove it if it breaks with a little heat. Be careful on how much heat you use, as I apparently used too much and the new tip top snapped off right at the edge of the old one. I think it made the graphite brittle.

5 minute epoxy from Devcon or similar or hot melt glue. If you use the hot melt you will want to extend your finish up onto the tip top tube to lock it in place.

If you use the hot melt glues, I don't reccommend using them in area's of hot climate as they will become soft and the tips will come off. I use Flex Coat 5 minute Epoxy.
