Could anyone out there tell me what the best product and method is for sealing a cork grip to protect it from wear, water, and skin oils? Re: sealing a cork grip

Second that. U40 doesn't cause the cork to get a plasticy feel like many do. It will darken the cork a little, but nothing that is still not appeasing to the eye. In fact, I like the little darker tone better. Super easy application and great results. Re: sealing a cork grip

QUESTION: Can you use this product on older, used grips? What should I clean them with before application? Thanks again. TH Re: sealing a cork grip

I have had good luck cleaning the handle with dish washing liquid. Letting it dry good and then applying the U40 Rod sealer. A very good product. Re: sealing a cork grip

Thanks, Barry. That is an easy fix! I guess water doesn't bother cork, so why not clean it up with soap and water? Cool. I'm going to be treating all my cork very soon. Thanks again, everyone. TH Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
