I'm looking for an 8' one piece blank for a casting rod. I want the butt to be no larger that .55 or so. The guy I'm building it for said he saw one that was a Lamiglass saltwater popping. I'm not to picky about brand but can't seem to find one like this. He's going to use it for carolina rigging freshwater. Any suggestions? Re: 8' Small dia. casting blanks

You might want to look into Steelhead blanks by Lami, Loomis, St. Croix, etc. Also, I've heard good things about the Lami GP964. Why .55 in the butt? That seems very small for a carolina rigging rod. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
