Where can I get info to convert line Wt. to lure Wt. Example: Rod 10 ft-6, 2pcs., line wt. 10-17, butt 0.570, tip 5.5, action med., power med/hvy. = lure wt. once I have lure wt. how can you convert this to a fly line wt. Re: Line wt. to Lure wt.

That information has been on the board within the past few days. You'll have to scroll down onto the previous page to find it I suspect. A quick reminder - take fly line weight and make that number your numerator. Use 16 as a denominator. That gives you the weight in ounces, approximately. For instance, a 5 weight fly rod has been designed to be used with roughly 5/16th of an ounce weight. The actual weight and conversion info can be found in an earlier post. ..........
