I contacted a lighting company and received some pretty good advise on lighting that I want to share. I was referred to a "40W full Spectrum" Florescent Light used primarily by draftman as I understand. I went to Home Depot and talked with the lighting man. They had full spectrum lights (4' florescent) I installed them a couple of days ago, and what a difference. These lights are Fantastic. They're very easy on the eyes, and the thread colors really stand out nicely. They produce very little shadowing and glare when using metallics. The lights are bright but subtle. The cost is about $7.00/bulb (x 2) and the fixture was about $19.00. I was told to mount approx. 3' above my lathe, and that's where it is. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
