crossed American Flag wrap

Has anyone done the American flag wrap with crossing masts? I think it can be done but it seems it would have to be done on a pretty good size blank.

Thanks,
Steve

You could do it, but for best effect it would be done on a blank large enough that you could show it off to good effect. I suppose it could be done on any size blank, but would show best on larger ones.

One thing I've found over the years, is that most fishermen over the age of 40 really cannot see intricate work done on smaller rods. To some extent, it's wasted on customers in this age classification, unless they are willing to use their reading glasses to view such things.
