I have a Lamiglas PF 1084-5 blank. The date on the sleeve says 07 2002.
Insert says ”Balancing Tradition with Innovation”

Anyone familiar with this blank?
Thanks

I believe it's a fly rod blank, 4-piece, 5-weight. Lamiglas has always made good rod blanks. Lamiglas goes back a long way and were the 2nd company, to my knowledge, to offer graphite rod blanks.

It is a 9’ two piece. Seems like a nice blank-very nice finish.

I own two 5-6 wt. and one 8-9 wt., all 3 piece, these rods all had the same butt dia. .500 inches, making it a fun time building fly reel seats with wood inserts on the 5-6 rods, used a Stuble 22 titanium reel seat on the 9 wt. that loosens and tightens the seat by rotating the fighting butt. All very nice rods. You got a dandy.

I think it is a Paragee (don't remember correct spelling) fly blank. the very tip end is solid Graphite

My Perigees are not solid tipped, Clemen's Apogee blanks were, they were made in Japan. They are a lighter green than I usually saw used in the industry with micro flakes of gold. Sulky 142 7056 Pine Green Metallic was a perfect color match.
