Guide Size help

I'm building an NFC SW 765 moderate. med heavy. 12-25lb. 1/2 3 oz . I'm wondering guide sizes and single vs double foot. At what point should you go from double foot guides to single foot for the runners? I plan on going12, 10 ,8,6 double foot then the rest single foot runners.

Thanks

Both are strong enough to work, durability while stored on the boat, in vehicle, etc. are the issues as I see it. Pick your priorities and go fish it.

Don't use so many guide sizes. Not efficient. Just go from 12 maybe then an 8 and on to the rest in 6's. Or go straight from the 12 to the 6's. It'll work better than if you put a bunch of different sizes on the rod.
