NFC Shipping

Went to order some parts from NFC. Total was around $150. I applied a coupon I have. The total after the coupon was more than the limit for free shipping, so I assumed there would be no shipping charge. When I went to check out, a shipping charge was added. Does this sound right?

Best thing to do is contact them. We can’t help you with shipping costs.

Ed, Try it without the coupon, my last email said orders over $75 were shipped free. Still have a problem, try Kelsey K. at kelsey@northforkcomposites.com.

Ed,

Total pre-tax cart value needs to be greater than $75 for free shipping (excluding oversized length blanks). If that’s not the case, send a screenshot to info@northforkcomposites.com and we will take a look, if already ordered we can apply the coupon after the fact, if the cart is eligible.

I made the mistake of wasting my $50 off coupon, because it brought my total down below the free shipping mark. I didn't realize the free shipping threshold was determined by the discounted price. I thought the coupon would just be applied to the grand total at the end. So my $50 off ended up being $15 off after the shipping got tacked back on. Are you sure that's not what happened to your total?

Thanks to all for the responses. This helps clarify my misunderstanding.

Placed the order and the shipping was removed on the final invoice. All is good!
