I'm looking for 2 piece blanks as close as possible to the nfc sj703 & 705 and would also like to find something in the middle - the equivalent of a a sj704 if they made one.

I would go to a 3 piece blank if I needed to.

These would be general purpose inshore. Mostly drifting & throwing 1/8-1/4 jigs with paddle tails, keel weights with swim baits, popping corks, some jerk baits,, igging pompano jigs, etc.

Open to ideas for other actions if you think the SJ can be improved on.

Am I the only one that still likes multipiece blanks? Seems like slim pickings these days!

I have two Rogue blanks left that are two piece popping blanks with extra fast, soft tips. 4 power rated can look up specs if you are interested.

Roque P 705-2, 8 - 17 lb. line, 1/4 to 5/8 oz. lures, 5 tip, .495" butt, XF action. I've cast less than 1/4 oz. with it, the tip is lighter and faster than my other like powered popping rods, a Loomis P844 GLX 4 power and Lamiglas IM700 IMP 844, 4 power., butt power about the same on all, the Lamiglas is rated 3/8 - 3/4 oz.
