Fiberglass rod blank identification

Hello,
I recently purchased several vintage rod blanks from an online seller. Included was an unmarked glass blank. I am hoping someone may be able to help me determine a possible brand and use. It is a 7'6" 2 piece glass blank weighing 2.3 oz. with a tip-over-butt ferrule. The male ferrule has a rubber ferrule plug. The butt section measures approximately .70" and the tip is a size 6. The blank is "beer" brown; less red than Fenwick ferralite blanks. I'm thinking it is a spinning rod blank based on the taper. However, I have no idea how to determine appropriate lure/line weight. I do have photos, but I'm not very computer/forum savvy and have not been successful posting photos in the past. Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Adam Re: Fiberglass rod blank identification

Could be a Fenwick, I have had 3 or 4 color blanks over the years, one yellow and the rest browns. Re: Fiberglass rod blank identification

That's what I was thinking. Just not sure how to figure out an appropriate lure weight for it. Re: Fiberglass rod blank identification

I don't see it in my catalog, a couple 7 1/2 ft. blanks, pretty close to the right butt diameter, 5 - 5.5 tips, all in the 3 oz. range. Re: Fiberglass rod blank identification

Thanks for checking. It is a surprisingly light blank considering the dimensions. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
