Hey, fairly new to this, jumping in on my second rod here.. I've read absolutely anything I can on here and elsewhere on centerpin guide setups and I'm just struggling trying to order the guides.
I have the manufacturer recommended spacing, although from what I've seen there are some people here familiar with this blank, or there were, that have specific spacing they like on it and I've struggled to find that. Also the recommended sizing on guides makes no sense to me and I'm wondering if the guides we use in this region will make sense at that spacing. I'm leaning towards Titanium Fuji K guides; 20, 16, 12, 10, 8s- out to the tip. Great lakes region fishing and a lot of winter freezing. Open to suggestions. If anyone familiar with this blank has any tips or info to share it would be extremely appreciated. Thank you for your time. Re: CTS Affinity Float 13' 4-8 Guides & Spacing

Just that I think you would be better off with REC oversized snake guides to deal better with icing. Say. #4 or 5. Herb Re: CTS Affinity Float 13' 4-8 Guides & Spacing

I'm not sure snake guides would be a good choice on a centerpin rod. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
