Hi Everyone,

I’m thrilled to announce that the biggest Facebook Group dedicated to the craft of rod building is now a part of the Rodbuilding.org community. Many of you are already on there, and acquiring the group was a natural fit, and combining this forum and the Facebook group makes Rodbuilding.org the largest group dedicated to our craft with over 50,000 users.

Over the next two weeks, you will be able to see posts from the group on the forum, and vice versa, and yes, the forum rules will still apply.

The group was created in 2016 by Patrick Ryan with a focus to answer questions from rod builders, and have them share their rod building journey through pictures and video. Today, it is the largest group dedicated to this on Facebook with 36,000 page members.

For current forum users, sharing your posts and knowledge with a bigger audience will greatly benefit our craft, the forum will also benefit from a more picture driven content perspective. (Remember, in the app, you can toggle between the picture and forum view)

For current forum sponsors - this will give an opportunity to reach a wider audience with your message and products.

Finally, the integration can be tricky, and we will do most of the testing in a sandbox version of the site, there may be a speed bump or two, but I greatly appreciate your patience.
