Hi folks!
I'm told this is the ultimate place for the best info so thanks for letting me in! I recently built myself a lamiglas gp1022 with American Tackle double foot TiForged guides. did a 30-20-12-8-8-8-.... train and got exactly what I want - the thing just casts a mile effortlessly. I'd now like to do a similar build on a rainshadow sw867 but I'm wanting to do single foot running guides instead of double. I can't afford titanium so I'll go with SS. questions - I can't for the life of me figure the difference between the double foot AT Vortex Air (VABBDF-30) and the TiForged Air (TFABBDF-30) and when I would or wouldn't want to use one or the other. can someone enlighten me? Also, Are the TiForged Air double foots compatible with the Vortex Air single foots as running guides? on a heavier rod like that rainshadow will I be making a mistake to think of singlefoot runners (still ringless) vs the double foot? it'll be a pier/surf rod for everything from spanish macks to bull reds. thanks for any insight.
