They make an SB684, if he can go a 2” shorter.

Quick additional follow up on the SB724 - the rod easily handled 5" flukes and senko/wacky rig and the 10 - 14" smallmouths I landed. I did get a large fish on which I thought was the smallie of a lifetime but turned out to be a 2' carp. That fish was no problem for the SB724.
