Quick survey: which carbon grips do you like above?

Which ones would you add?

I like the colors of #5 and #6 from the left but am not a huge fan of the reel seats on those. They have a kind of gothic look from what I see. #6 and #7 from the right look great and that full carbon handle looks good.

Personally I hate split grips, so that leaves only one to my liking. As for color - it takes all sorts ;-)

How about adding soft touch hood covers and fore grips?

I prefer the Edge Rod's personal designs better.

What material comprises the colored portions of these grips?

It looks like you have added some colors to the carbon fiber locking hood covers. If you could add color options to the KDPS16 NFCG623CO1 that would be appreciated.

Not shown but color options for full length handles would also be nice, even if limited colors

Historically, from grips I have made, it's dyed glass/carbon weave.

Spencer is basically correct although Soller Composites will color their CF / Aramid hybrid sleeving as well upon request. For all intents and purposes though, the colored woven sleeving is CF with colored FG.

I like the 7th from the right. What I would like if is possible is to have the butt section "ferruled" or removable so there is an option to have a shorter handle or a longer handle depending on the fishing conditions.

Give us the edge reel seat! I love the one on my First Strike Kickstarter rod.

It really sinks the reel lower as the core is off center.

They all look okay, but I'm not a fan of the checkerboard look of most of the carbon fiber grips, but the ones that have more of a single-color look are the ones I'd use.
