Guide spacing for the FAF1007-4

Hello,
I started to build a NFC FAF1007-4 blank. (10 ft 7 wt 4pc)

The guide spacing provided on the site doesn't make sense to me.
Does anyone have any updated specs for that blank ?

This is what the site provides :

No IN
1 5.5
2 11.63
3 17.88
4 24
5 30.25
6 37.75
7 46.5
8 55.88
9 65.38
10 75.5
11 87

First guide should be somewhere around 4.5 to 5 max ...

Thanks,

Why should the first guide be 4.5 to 5 max? If the rod is not a very fast action those first few inches behind the tiptop probably do not flex by much so the factory spacing may be fine. My only suggestion is that you move from 11 guides to 12 guides on a 10 footer.

I've seen some factory Sage rods with 5.5 - 6 inches to the first guide from the tip, like Branko says, not a lot of bending going on there.
