I've made 4 phone calls (and left messages) and sent one e-mail, in the last 5 days--no response. Granted, I've always been a bit impatient, but I would think someone on their end would've called me back by now.
Is Utmost still up and running?
Are they just super-busy right now?
Has anyone else been able to place an order lately?
I can find most of what I need elsewhere, except for the ALPS reel seat, in the color I want, and Utmost has always been great to deal with.

Yep, I was there yesterday I am lucky, live only 10 miles from Utmost and Batson/Rainshadow.

Keep trying, they are super busy,

Carol was busy filling orders when I was there, Mic was busy picking up at Batson and shipping, and Grant was busy on the rodbench.

I have found email to be the best for contacting them, they always respond quickly.

Carol is one my favorite rod building vendors. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. I’m sorry she hasn’t gotten back with you, but she has earned a lot of people’s admiration and benefit of doubt. Casey at Voodoo is superb. Karry at Batson is great to talk to about product questions. Deb at St. Croix/Rod Geeks is outstanding at customer service. John at Flexcoat is in this strata. Rick at American Rodbuilders Warehouse is, too. Andy at Gen4 is tops. It’s an industry with some great people to do business with. .

Carol and Mic do it all and are very rarely near a phone. With email they can respond anytime off hours.

Carol really is the best person to deal through when it comes to rod building. She's usually great about responding so they must extremely busy. Sorry you've been out of luck but I'd send another email.

One of my favorite suppliers. Down to earth and easy to deal with.

Utmost is one of the best businesses to work with!

Voice mail is not dependable - messages can get lost by the phone service provider, etc. For business transactions it's also cumbersome (phone tag) and time consuming for both parties so I'd much rather send an email.

I generally call within 30 minutes of their opening time. 90% of the time I get Carol right away.

sent an emil with complete order. received a call from Mic a day later, confirming payment. 3 days after that the package arrived, with everything I ordered. Email is definitely the answer.
