I just purchases some Rod Skinz from Mud Hole, has anyone ever put a thin coat of epoxy over them, or is this a bad idea? I am somewhat new to this, any direction would be appreciated.

The description says it’s sealed with laminate so I doubt epoxy finish is necessary, but it won’t hurt anything. I probably would if I were putting one on my rod.

I believe the right way to treat it as you would a decal, and put a coat of epoxy over it. That is what I have always done with Rodskinz, and they look even better that way. And will last forever.
