Is there any possible way to put a 3 jaw chuck on the drill chuck and a drill chuck on the stand where the live center goes? I need to find a way to ream out the centers when turning wooden reel seats or am I going to just have to buy a drill press for this? How is anyone else drilling out the centers when using this lathe. I think I can come up with a way of mounting the 3 jaw chuck on the drill but getting the proper reamers to mount on the other end is driving me nuts!!! Can a drill chuck be mounted there? Your only hope would be to fashion a threaded shaft that will fit the chuck and then chuck that into your drill chuck. But it should work, if you can chuck the threaded shaft into your drill. You may have to have the shaft shouldered (turned down) on one end to get it into your drill chuck. .......... Re: Grizzley Hobby Lathe chucks???

I got that part figured out, the problem I face is getting a chuck to fit the part where the live center goes! I need something to fit the reamer in so I can drill out the center!! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
