Does anyone know if these blanks are simply 3 inch extensions of the 704, 705 and 706?

I don’t want to carry both of these are built on the same specs with just 3 inches added to the butt. I hope this is the case.

Thanks

Did you check the flex profiles and the pattern they were built off of? There's your answer. Click the plus sign on each blank and there you are.

Thanks for the reply Spencer, I did in fact check the site. I have found that many of the NFC numbers are wrong in my opinion. I simply want confirmation from NFC that the rod mandrel is the same but with 3 inches added to the butt.

Both are patterned after the MBR 843 Gary Loomis designed many years ago, very popular bass rod. This info was also there with the charted profile in the big black square below the chart.

I am assuming the answer to my question is no it is not. I see a tip size of 4.4 on the 705 and 5.5 on the 735. Maybe I’m missing something Spencer?

IMO, yes, I don't trust tip size as an indication of anything, otherwise there wouldn't be rods with 1/3 the power with the same tip size as the 705. Looking at tip and butt sizes just oversimplifies things.
