Vortex Air Guides - Chrome or Black Finish

Wondering if anyone is fishing the Vortex Air guides, and which color? Just got some in the chrome finish, and I know hard chrome holds up really well, but on some builds it's a bit bright. Wondering if anyone is fishing these in the black finish, and if so how it's wearing?

Quality - fit and finish looks really nice on the chrome ones I got in.

I have a couple of years on a rod I had made before I started. No problems so far.

Thanks - are you running the matching tip top or a ceramic tip?

Marc,

I put the black Vortex Air double-foot guides on one of my inshore spinning rods when they were first released by American Tackle. They excelled in every respect, but. Inasmuch as I have numerous inshore rods, none of them get used very often so I cannot discuss their durability.

I am currently building a rod with the black TiForged Air guides on a conventional rod that will be used for Walleye fishing in the Columbia River. I am excited to test them out as well, probably sometime in April or May.

Rich
