Have been building a few custom rods in the last year and really love it. I have done only spinning rods from light inshore to heavy Tarpon/Snook rods.

I’m going to give my first shot at a heavy swim bait rod. I’m going to be building two of the following:

NFC Blanks 8’6”

MUH868 IM-LMX (40-80lb Mod-Fast 3-8oz)
MUXH869 IM-LMX (50-100lb Mod-Fast 6-16oz)

I plan on using 80lb braid for both on a large low profile bait casting reels.

I am looking for guide recommendation and sizing. I really love the KWs. Any input on other areas of the rod will be appreciated.
