<p>This is my first build. I wanted to build a replica of one of my favorite rods of all time which was G Loomis MBR783C GLX Mag Bass Rod. Cost to buy New was $350 10 years ago. Cost to build the Replica was about $200 today with sale prices. *NOTE: The original G Loomis used Fuji Titanium Guide with SIC Rings, about $60 more than the Alconites I used for this build. I'm pretty happy with how my first build came out.</p>
<p>I used the following components:</p>
<ul>
<li>Northfork Composites MB663 HM</li>
<li>Fuji Pre-Shaped Cork 9" rear and 3" front</li>
<li>Fuji ECMS Seat</li>
<li>Fuji Black Stainless frames  with Alconite Rings</li>
<li>Tread color is Black with Lite Blue 2 strand inlay. </li>
</ul>
