Hole Saw For Bark Cutting

Date: February 04, 2007 08:44PM Here is a modification you can make to a hole saw to cut bark and other fragile items. Start by removing the drill & grinding the teeth off. Next grind the edge in the shapee of a chisel. Reinstall the drill chuck it up and start cutting your bark, fragile trim rings etc. Another modification that can also be made is to make the slots in the sides of the saw larger to aid in removing the cut out. It also helps to spin the hole saw off the mandrel when removing the cut outs. This relives the problem of binding on the drill bit. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
