Date: June 26, 2007 03:23AM I cut down a 7' CTS elite spin tournament (8-12lb) to 6'8". I found that to have a short butt is advantageous to my casting as it doesn't knock into my forearm after a one handed "flick", and that was the ideal length for achieving perfect balance(the reel is a luvias 2500). I used Fuju T-ATSG guides, and the whole rod weighs about 80g (2.9 oz). Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
