I use this Mudhole product occasionally to get rid of stubborn micro bubbles in epoxy finish. Is there a simple DIY alternative for this product? Re: Bubble buster

Use a finish mixer. If you don't put bubbles on, you don't have to heat them out. Re: Bubble buster

Roman,
I have never used a bubble buster. Rather, I use my industrial heat gun used sparingly has always removed any bubbles or micro bubbles from my finish. Take care Re: Bubble buster

Yes, of course, there are many ways to deal with those bubbles and everybody does it differently. It is not very often that I need to use the "bubble buster" product, but sometimes it helps. If not mistaken I remember seeing a post on this forum about a simple DIY alternative for it, so this is why I asked. Re: Bubble buster

Hello Roman.
I did a search using "All Dates" and this came up as the 39th thread. 39. Re: Bubble buster I can't find the SDS sheet for the Bubble buster but I found on another fourm where someone said the MSDS says methanol and proprietary additive. The product is listed as flammable so I am suprised Mudhole doesn't have a SDS listed for the product on there website. MSDS has now been replaced with SDS if you where wondering. Not all the time, but a lot of the time Proprietary additive means water Hope this helps. Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Bubble buster

Can always use a butane micro torch such as a Bernzomatic.

Thanks Robert! That is probably the post I remember seeing here. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
