How long does it usually take for GetBit to deliver an Alps Power Wrapper. I ordered and paid for one back on July 15, and have not even received an email stating that it's been shipped yet. I tried emailing the email address on the emaied receipt, asking ETA and have heard nothing back yet. I have two builds waiting on that wrapper. This is frustrating.

I would think that you would possibly have better results by calling them rather than just some speculation on what others may feel free to reply. My philosophy is when you have an issue, go to the source, not air it out on a social media page

Call them. If you email them email customer service not the order notification email. Or go to the site and use the "contact us" system. They are excellent in responding from my experience. I purchased one from them as the whole kit and it took a few weeks.

This thing called COVID has delayed many things in life.

I can't remember exactly....maybe 2 week range. Okay, just looked at some old posts. I was talking about maybe getting one on 2/19/21. Don't know when I placed the order but it arrived on 3/1/21.

It appeared to be drop shipped direct from Batson. They included some extra items that made it an even better deal. From that same post.....they included a neck gaiter, flat bill camo hat, and a pullover hoodie. Also some decals and catalog.

Don't know if that helps but it might give you some idea. I don't think GitBit was "in charge" of when it would arrive. I don't remember any email on tracking number or anything like that.

Heavy sigh. I just got hold of GetBit on the phone. The Alps Power Wrapper is on back-order from Batson until mid July. I still loke the looks of the unit, but this sure slows me down. I believe I chose the best product within my price range.

One just might want to also take this into consideration when trying to understand why you favorite supplier may be having difficulty in completing your order.

Not that it needs it, but to justify Ron’s remake and link, I went offshore fishing on Monday and was amazed with the number (30-40) container ships anchored outside the breakwall of Long Beach and San Pedro harbors here in SoCal = never seen it like that! We couldn’t even plot a straight course to our fishing destination through all those ships.

Following Mark's comments, today I was at SF Oracle Ball Park, and I could see well over a dozen container ships anchored awaiting time to get into the unloading port. I have never seen anything like this backup!

In my last post, I meant back order yo mid-August. And I do understand the bottlenecks in business. I'm just wanting to get these rods built. And thanks everyone.

Borrow a wrapper from someone if you have a critical build.

Build them without a power wrapper, it only two rods. I’ve never wrapped a rod using a power wrapper. I can’t get use to using one, it just slow me down.

I need the power wrapper as the hand wrapper I put together is in Michigan, while I'm in Montana. I do well with a power wrapper. It saves me a great deal of time, and I love it for drying the epoxy thread coating.. As far as borrowing one, I'm new to the area I'm now living in, and don't know anyone in H

My new Alps Power Weapper just got here. Unfortunately, it;s too heavy for me to carry downstairs. When my son gets home from work, I'll ask him for assistance. Oh, to be twenty years younger again LOL.
