Thread color help

This is a shot in the dark, but I am asking if any of the forum might be able to help me. I am partly colorblind and I am trying to match a thread color as close as possible.
A close friend of mine has a BPS JM Carbonlite 2.0 rod that he (or maybe one of his boys) managed to smash a couple of the guides. I managed to repair it for the time being so that he can at least still use it, but I told him I would order and replace the guides with new and try to get a thread (what I believe to be some shade of silver) to match the guide wraps.
I wish I had taken a picture of the rod before I gave it back so that I could post a picture of the thread that was on it before I made the repair. I had a silver that I thought might come close, so it used it, but even my messed up eyes could see that it didn't match.
If anybody has one of those rods or has repaired one, could you possibly point me in the direction of the thread that could come pretty close?
I appreciate any help.

Check out your local fabric stores, they will have mutiple shades of silver and gold, no need to guess.

Show your friend the color selections you have in stock , and what you have to choose from if you have to order some, Let him make the choice. If you can't find an exact match, re- wrap all the guides with the color of his choice. That's a @#$%& of an affliction for a rodbuilder. My sight issue has to do with guide alignment. Lol Censor got me again, @#$%&!

Chris, I went to the BPS website and saw some close up images of the Silver you're talking about . Unfortunately I can't offer a good alternative but I'm sure somebody on this forum who is familiar with a wide spectrum of colors would be able to.

BPS JM Carbonlite 2.0
