I usually use aluminum reel seats on my saltwater builds but i recently was intrigued by the CRSD-18B-3K [www.americantackle.us] The carbon tube is CNC machined and the threads feel incredibly clean. I wanted to reduce the weight on this specific build so I know I made the right choice on going with this reel seat. I figured it would also help transfer some of the sensitivity thought the graphite blank into the seat. I love the look of the 3K carbon these days. Has anyone else ever use a carbon reel seat similar? I cant wait to get this baby nice and slimy! Re: More Carbon Please

I used one of those on a Black Hole Cape Cod tuna jigging rod I built for a friend. It has performed well as I understand. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
