No, I can give you the Lamiglas guide chart if you want. You have to many big guides, not enough little guides no matter what. It will be more tip heavy and clumsy then it needs to be. You'd be better off using the static distribution system in the library here. Re: number of guides

Guide chart sent for all Lamiglas blanks from 2010 to your email. Use the X 106 MLC chart, 15 guides, these were a group of 10' 6" rods designed by Dave Vender, a Canadian guide for them. Nice rods. Re: number of guides

Gary,
Summary - Use as few guides as possible to still keep the line off the blank and to keep the blank properly loaded under a full load. Use as small guides as possible at each station to minimize weight I would think a single size 16, one size 12, one size 8, and the rest runners of either a size 6 or 5. I am speculating that you would likely be fine with 12-13 guides. Glue on the tip, and then tie on the guides that you choose and run the line through the guides from the reel and the tip. Then, pulling on the line with the reel locked - fully load the rod and check the line path for a good form with the line following the contour of the loaded blank and have no part of the line touch the blank. Especially for a rod with a blank such as yours, I am not a fan of a mini guide like a size 3,4 or 5. Rather, I choose to run with size 6 runners, simply because they are taller and fewer guides will still keep the line off of the blank. Your choice. take care Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
