Having trouble finding the fuji Kw I want. I found the light duty LZRs that are size 8, 6, 5. Is that too small for a medium heavy bass rod?

I recently put a set of LZR's on an FP885, 6, 5, 4's to a 5 tip top. Your sizes will work just fine. The LZR's are really nice guides.

No idea what a "medium heavy" rod is, but the guide style and size really depends on the line test and type you're using.

It's between a medium and a heavy power rod. It will be braid or sub 20lbs FC.

I've used 8, 6, 5s and 8, 6, 4.5s all on 7' mh or h bass rods without issue.

I have used the 8,6,5's on the MHX NEPS90MHF 7'6" for two different builds now. They have been casting 50lb braid and 15lb Seaguar red label very well. I built one rod using the provided LZR layout guide and it place the butt guide a little further from the reel than I would like it to be. I took some slomo shots with the Gopro casting and the line did not flow as smooth as the one that was built using the concept board to layout the spacing.

Thanks. I'm building in an NFC MB 705. I will start with that provided guide spacing and go from there.
