I'm looking to build a switch rod in 6/7 weight around 11 feet with a fast action. I searched the site but came up empty so looking for some suggestions?
Thanks, Mark Re: Switch rod

Batson has switch rod blanks in their Imortal and Revelation lines in 5-8 weights. Proof has a few offerings. Mieser sells blanks but they are more expensive than the first two I mentioned, but highly regarded. And a number of OEM sell blanks. Re: Switch rod

Hi Mark,
Saying that you want a "fast" Switch blank is kind of an oxymoron. By definition, a switch rod is not fast. A switch blank flexes well into the mid/butt section. What you may want is a CTS 11'0" Affinity-X, which has a single handed action - FAST. I have built both CTS Switch rods and Affinity-X 11'0" rods - both for 2 handed use.
