Those of you who have the Immortal Walleye 6'2 1 pc rod ....... what do you recommend for guides for a guy that uses only 8 lb Nylon line and direct or slow drifts 90 % of the time? I'd consider Minima Match guide reduction train 20/10/6/5.... runners and a Fuji Alconite top. Re: Immortal Rod Build

Fuji KR series, 20KLH-10KLH-5.5M with size4 KB's and KT's. I usually use for the total number of guides as rod length +2 +tiptop. LG tiptop. Fuji's are bullet proof. Set up the reduction train per their KR software, the runners with a stress test, and if you choose to test cast, you won't be able to improve on it. This is almost the same setup as above but using Fuji's as the reduction train. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
